I haven't bothered to partake in Twitter and it's not likely that I will.

What I did find fascinating though was Twitter's role in social organization during the turmoil surrounding the fixed Iranian elections, and it's ability to circumvent an otherwise closed/controlled media situation. I understand it has since been tamed to some extent, but still it's funny how things can take on a life of their own.
