What I did find fascinating though was Twitter's role in social organization during the turmoil surrounding the fixed Iranian elections, and it's ability to circumvent an otherwise closed/controlled media situation. I understand it has since been tamed to some extent, but still it's funny how things can take on a life of their own.

It's not really the point of the service. If you're not into delayed chatting with a bunch of people like I'm not, it's not for you. But, maybe I should start an account and try it.. Since the monstrosity of a health care bill died, I've had no desire to troll Democratic message boards and I've been bored on the web a lot lately.
