I used to manage stock at a porn/adult shop and I remember having to lie to my grandparents and tell them I worked in a "novelty bookstore" (which is true, we had "books" with pictures of things like double anal, that's a novelty). My grandfather asked what I meant and I said we sold crossword puzzle books and instruction manuals for juggling, that sort of thing.
