When I was 12, my best friend's family took me on vacation with them to a beach house in South Carolina. I found a copy of Catcher in the Rye and laid down to read. I remember my friend's Mom yelling at me to go outside and go swimming or something, just anything, just get out of the house! I'd just yell back that I was reading... That I liked the book.

Catcher in the Rye is probably the only book I've ever read from cover to cover in one sitting. That guy was brilliant.

But, I do find it disturbing that 13% of our Senators are Jews. What the fuck is up with that?
