I have never seen any praying done on planes but I fly fairly infrequently.

When I took a flight from Tucson (might have been Phoenix) to San Diego around 1998 I got sat next to the fattest possible person that could have fit into the same row of seats as me. And during take off and landing I was trying to be relaxed because I knew it was going to be a short flight.
This fat lady shattered all tranquility I may have been feeling by taking out a disposable camera with FLASH and taking pictures from arms length of her own face during the take off and landing.
What the fuck?
Anyway some large woman has vacation pictures that include a good portion of my face in them looking like someone had just hit me over the head with a giant Loony Toons hammer.
I mean fat to the point that there was no way to use the arm rest. Luckily I could hang out into the aisle.
Has anyone else ever seen people taking self portraits during take-off/landing on flights?
I hate the way airlines charge assrape prices for first class seats compared to coach, but the last time I flew coach, I booked waaaaay in advance and was stuck in the last row of an MD 90 (in other words, right beside the engines and in front of a bulkhead so I couldn't recline) next to a guy who was so fat he couldn't fasten the seatbelt and had to use a seatbelt extender. I am a taller than average guy and need to recline to get the extra couple of inches of knee space, but couldn't do it.
It was the last time I flew coach.
On the other hand, the last time I flew into Key West from Miami on a small commuter plane, the girl next to me was scared to death of flying and was actually pretty hot and drunk and held onto me the whole time. She was very funny and had a great sense of humor and we went out for drinks afterward. She took a few pics before taking off.
