Seriously, what exact day was Obama sworn in last year? Has he even been in office an entire year yet?
Can you imagine if Bush Jr. had so quickly disenchanted the people, that in '02, Alabama had started sending Democrats to the US Senate?
What just happened is Massachusetts is that fucking bad!
I'm actually a pretty moderate conservative. The area I fall onto with those political ideology quizzes, there are some people who do consider themselves Democrats. It's not most of them, but I'm pretty moderate nontheless. One of the few reasons I definitely do NOT consider myself a Democrat is that as an institution... Ideology aside, just looking at the Democratic Party as an organization who sets about trying to accomplish goals, whatever the goal may be. Just looking at them like that, this is a group of people that just keeps fucking doing whacky things!
Why the hell did you people nominate someone for president who had no real experience anyway?
And, don't act dumb. The Democratic party's propensity towards shooting itself in the foot has become well known.
Look, I realize none of us are professionals. Just a bunch of novices who have read about politics here and there having had developed many of our perceptions just through osmosis from the people around us. But, if your ideology is well-represented by the Democratic party. Does there not come a moment in time when you have to stop and consider, "you know, if these are the type of people who make a career professing the political ideals I have come to know... Is it possible that I've just been exposed to inaccurate environmental stimuli? And, many of these beliefs are just wrong?"
Does anybody have a conservative treatise for these people to read and maybe re-evaluate their beliefs with? It can't be anything too extreme. These guys got decades of erroneous learning to undo...
