I put up my furniture on Craigslist prior to leaving Cincinnati in ’07, and actually got a buyer. It was pretty fucked up though, because he called & sounded foreign. Don’t remember where he wanted it shipped to, but he sent me a cashier’s check...or so I thought.

Turned out the douche who was purchasing from me had leeched into some woman’s (from NC) bank account, and had a check drawn for the $1500 + shipping fees that I was asking. It looked shady as hell, which is why I checked into it before depositing the funds.
