No. I had no idea it expired. I don't drive. It's my only government-issued ID, and it expired *before* I flew to the East Coast. No one flagged it on the way out. On the way back, they rolled their eyes, told me to renew it, and waved me through. There was no additional screening. And JFK wasn't even busy - there were 3 people at security.
