I could see Vancouver as a tasty target. Canada, considering that it exists at the the pleasure of Los Estado Unitos (the Great Satan), prides itself on diversity and is quite sloppy with it's security.

The difference is that this isn't the 70's. The cells were bigger and more openly financed by rouge nations. And the objectives are a bit murkier. Munich was to strike a blow at Israel and embarass Germany for the treatment of "Palestians". Now the goal is to just strike, to throw the citizenry off balance, which I think was proven could happen after ther Olympic bombing in Atlanta. The cells are often smaller now. They've gone to the "lone wolf" style of cells, where one or just a few operators are able gto conduct missions with little if any ties back to a central organizing group. So I could easily the potential for a lone nut or small group to reap havoc while the whole world watches. At this stage of the game, anything's possible.
