The underlying problem here is that Osyrus has preconceptions as to what a girl should and shouldn't do, and he's mad Gen isn't following his model.

Gen has her own goals, plans and standards for achieving them. She's not interesting in your standards, much less adhering to them.

(you're making a classic mistake: just because Gen doesn't fit you moral code doesn't mean she has no morals. In fact I suspect Gen has strong ethics and a good moral compass, it's just not your ethics or morals)

As for why we like her: she writes well, she's funny, and she's got a good personality. There's also a lot of honesty, both with herself and us, about what she does. Note that none of this has anything to do with porn: these are universal traits and she'd be welcome almost anywhere.

I suspect Gen posts because she (usually) likes it and it's a good outlet. It certainly has nothing to do with pushing her career - I've been trying to get the porn girls to do more self-promotion because I think it would be of general interest, but none of them seem to want to be seen as Brandon-like I guess.

Pissing doesn't do anything for me either. So what? When I compliment or encourage one of the girls it's to note they did well at something they worked hard at. I may say "that scene really did it for me" sometimes, and that's good too, but I think she would rather be judged in terms of what she was trying to do instead of something I wished she'd have done instead.

I think that much the same applies to Kami and the others porn girls here. Oh, and all of this applies to the non-porn world too: you'll have a lot more success dating if you judge women for themselves rather than trying to straight-jacket them into your own world.
