Well it isn't "us", is it? It is a specific group stirring up shit for no other reason other than being offended. Let's be clear on this: nobody is asking to let their dogs run free where mosques are and nobody is making muslim (or jewish for that matter) kids eat pork at school lunches;nobody is trying to 'stick it' to a specific group. The dogs are there out of necessity. There are bad people who might want to do bad things during the olympics.
It is the same as the niqab controversy. We ,as a society, have had to all bend a little for the good of everyone. It's ski mask weather here right now, but I understand that I can't walk into a bank or a women's studies class at the university wearing it. And please don't make the 'religious freedom' argument for these things. There are limits in western society....
