What does the piranha's mouth size have anything to do with what happened. The story said the boy was "bitten" not that the piranha's mouth was around the whole finger.

A fresh water fish can't survive in a fountain? Well I don't know since I'm not a marine biologist or whatever they call those people who study piranhas.
