He's not really black - he's just not quite as lily white as most Ferelden folk. He's from a place I think they tried to model after Spain. Anyway, he will try to come on to you after you have him in your party, so if you don't want to go gay, you'll need be firm with him. He'll still be your friend even though you don't swing that way.

Of course, there are 2 other white women for you to choose from as well. You can't have a full romance with both at the same time, but you can have sex with each of them (at different times of course) if you play your cards right!
