Dexter got sloppy. First he killed an innocent man by mistake. His bloodlust got the best of him and he jumped to conclusions without having any really SOLID proof.

Then he got obsessed with vigilante justice on a specific target. And he picked the wrong guy to mess with.

He thought he was smart, careful, invincible. No. In the end he is just an impulse killer. And now he paid the price.

I'm glad it ended like this because ultimately, people should NOT find Dexter a likeable character. Just like the "Saw" dude he tries to wrap some moral justifications around his actions, but ultimately he is just a killer operating outside the law.





You do realize that "Dexter" is a TV show. Its make believe like god, jesus, santa claus, the easter bunny and equal rights.
