Former adult performer Sunset Thomas will close out her career in the adult biz with one final stint at the Wild Horse Resort & Spa in Sparks, Nev.

Thomas said that she was one of the first adult performers to successfully bridge the divide between being a porn star and escort.

“It was so funny when I first started doing it,” she said. “The adult business gave me a really hard time. They’d go, ‘Oh my god. You’re making us look bad. You’re making us look like sluts and whores and this and that.’ I’m like, ‘Hello. They think we’re sluts and whores anyway.’”

Thomas said that although she’ll be formally retired after her time at the Wild Horse, she might never be fully retired.

“I’ve been at it for 17 years,” she said. “You can only do it for so long. But it’s in my heart. I can’t totally get away from it. That’s why I’m going to go and do more of the directing and stuff like that.”
