How do you figure? I know talent who does or has gotten tested by LabCorp here in Indiana and they take that valid test result with them to LA / Florida for filming. As you said yourself, it sure beats waiting an awkward period of time in CA where you can't work if you could only get your bloodwork done through AIM...?
You can get tested anywhere at any labcorp but you have to pay for it thru aim .... then they send you to a labcorp. You can't just walk into any labcorp and get a test. Plus, If it is not purchases thru aim any major company in LA will not shoot you. In Fla you can get Talent testing I believe with alot of companies .... and I'm told some in LA .... but it has to atleast be AIM or talent testing at the very least. I'm sure there's some non licensed small company shooting in LA that will take any test .... but most companies will not.
