I wonder what the attraction is of having a secret affair with him? I guess its probably the money hoping he will buy you lots of stuff. Then down the road you can always blackmail him for lots more

She can stay with him, or she can stay in jail for a while. The Florida Highway Patrol would love to get to her but can't without his testimony. If she goes, he talks, and she does time for false statements, spousal abuse, battery, assault with a deadly weapon, etc.

He's not at legal risk beyond a minor ticket for the accident (he didn't talk to the cops at the scene or later). But she is at risk, and that's the real reason he won't talk to the police: he's protecting her.

I would never cheat on anybody I was in a relationship with unless they were OK with it, but then I'd never be in a relationship with anybody who would be OK with me screwing around on them. I can't respect any guy who cheats on his wife, it is just so weak and low class.

The weird thing is that I don't mind fooling around with a woman who is in a relationship if I am single. I know, it doesn't make sense to me either.

I have no problem with those girls wanting to have an affair with Tiger, whether they are attracted to his looks, his fame, his money, his prospects for a payoff or for blackmail, whatever. Assuming they were single, whatever floats their boat. I don't think it is any less valid for a woman to want to sleep with Tiger because he is rich and famous than it would be for a guy to want to sleep with a woman because she has nice tits.

I think it is the responsibility of the person in the relationship to say "No".

If I was Tiger's wife (or more realistically, the husband of a cheating wife or girlfriend) I would leave immediately no matter if I had to serve jail time for kicking his ass or not.

What was Tiger Woods thinking?! That he was some superstud and the girls were groupies who were happy just to have sex with him?

This is the first time I am hearing this.

I don't think this is any different than claiming I would never shoplift, even if I was really hungry and had no money and really wanted to eat.

I am actually surprisingly curious as to why you don't think this could possibly be true! I've never met anybody so adamant that nobody can possibly avoid cheating who wasn't just joking around.

I see.

I was on 3 long term deployments and several short term deployments when I was in the military. Most of the guys in relationships (married or engaged or just a girlfriend) wanted to remain faithful while away. Some were successful and some weren't. While I was stateside, a certain percentage of other guys were on deployment and I would meet those guy's wives, fiancee, girlfriends in the bars, clubs, friend's BBQ, etc. Many of those significant others wanted to remain faithful to the guys away on deployment. Some were successful and some weren't. I lived with one of the ones who wasn't so successful for a couple of months, and "dated" another.

Not every guy on deployment or girl back home (married or not) felt obligated to remain faithful to their significant other at all. That was their prerogative and I never imposed my beliefs on them, but I also never met one who tried to make themselves feel better by claiming that everybody else was just like them.

Just because you and your friends shoplift candy bars every time you get hungry, doesn't give you some sort of license to accuse everybody else in the store of doing the same thing.

Sorry, partner, I wish I could ease your conscience by agreeing that I would cheat on my wife, but you're just going to have struggle with the reality that you just talked to a guy on a porn board who never has and never would cheat, or choose to continue to live in denial.

No hard feelings.

With his money and profile he could fuck some of the finest pussy in the world every night of the week for less cash than his blond trophy wife spends on pointless shit like shoes and jewellery in an afternoon.

I'd say I project as much or as little as anybody else on here, you included. How am I supposed to know if you're in a relationship or not? Or lying about it? Because people don't lie on the internet, not ever! Right?

But allrighty, your morals USED TO BE / WERE very convenient when you dated / boned those other soldiers' wifes / girlfriends.

You didn't deny being a hypocrite, so we seem to agree about that.

I didn't deny it because I don't care if you think I am or not and because you made it pretty clear you were close minded about it. You know, "End of Story!!" and all. Now you are upset I didn't address it?

If you look back on the earlier responses. I started out saying that I don't have anything against the girls who were sleeping with Tiger.

I know how much some people automatically want to blame the man for any cheating, but I don't believe that. If I was single and asked a married woman out for a date, I would not feel any guilt (unless I knew the husband--then I wouldn't do it). It would be the married woman's responsibility to say "NO", not mine. Same for Tiger. It was his responsibility to say "NO", not the women trying to sleep with him.

Unlike you, I'm not wrapped up in gender politics. It doesn't matter to me if the single person is a man or a woman or heterosexual or homosexual or if the person in a relationship is a man or a woman or gay or straight. In my opinion, it is always the responsibility of the person in the relationship not to cheat, not the single person hitting on them.

If you want to call consistency being hypocritical, knock yourself out. I think I can live with that.

What on earth makes you think I'm upset? Where did I offer an opinion on "gender politics"? Where did I say that it mattered whether the cheater is a man or a woman? Or heterosexual / homosexual? Maybe I wrote something like that in your mind - but not in this thread. Or anywhere else on this board. You actually had the nerve to ask me if I "project much" in your other post? Seriously: You need a reality check! You're having "visions".

The fact that you would not hit on the wife of a man you know but wouldn't feel any guilt about asking the wife of a man you don't know out for a date is further proof that you're a hypocrite. A self-absorbed, self-serving hypocrite at that.

Yes, I'm calling your "consistency" hypocritical because you seem to be very consistent in your hypocrisy. And I have no doubt that you can live with that. I would expect nothing else from you based on the impression you've given in this thread so far. Unfortunately, I have nothing else to work with here because, unlike you, I can't read the minds of anonymous strangers on the internet.

Have you even noticed that I haven't stated why exactly I think you're a hypocrite yet? Then again, I don't have to... just read my mind!

Two more things: I'm not "some people", FYI. And it is NOT just the responsibility of the person who is in a relationship. It IS the responsibility of the person hitting on her / him, too. There is a reason why homewreckers are usually frowned upon.

Well, since you didn't understand what "Oxymoron" meant on a previous thread of mine, you don't know what "Satire" means on a current thread of Sasha Knox's, and you don't know the definition of "Hypocrite" here, I think it is about time you get off your parent's computer and go to bed, tomorrow being a school day and all.

If you stay up past your bedtime I'll be forced to call CPS and then find out where you live and punch your Elementary School English teacher in the throat for allowing you to graduate with such a poor grasp of the English language.

I've never been even mildly interested in changing your mind or hearing about your opinions. You inserted yourself into a conversation and had some sort of PMS attack.

I explained why I used the term "oxymoron" although it wasn't an oxymoron in the linguistic definition of the term. Reread that thread.

Please reread the Sasha Knox thread, too. And learn the difference between "using satire" and "writing a satire".

Again, I didn't state exactly why I called you a hypocrite yet. So you cannot possibly know whether I met the requirements of any definition or not.

It's impossible to "insert" (meaning "interrupt") oneself into a conversation on an open forum. Everbody posts whatever they want whenever they want. If you want to have private conversations without people offering unsolicited comments use the PM functions - not an open forum. Or become a moderator or administrator of the forum.

If you don't want to hear / read certain people's opinions on an open forum, just ignore them. Don't read their posts and don't react to them, it's the only thing you can do. Or become a mod / admin.

If you don't want to change people's minds, or know you can't, why even discuss with them? I know why: Just to hear yourself talk. Or to get "big ups" from like-minded people. Well, I like to hear myself talk sometimes and I like people who like what I have to say. So do you! It's human nature.

In conclusion: You think my grasp of the English language is poor, I think your grasp on reality is poor (as in "having a delusional self-image" and "projecting"). We both know we won't change each other's minds and like to hear ourselves talk. We both think we're pretty swell (respectively). Isn't that dandy?

FYI, I'm not a native English speaker (and already pretty enebriated, BTW), so I can always offer "explanations" (read: more or less convincing excuses) for my "poor grasp". What's your excuse?

I wonder if I'll even recall posting in this useless thread tomorrow?

And now it's time to tell you that I don't care that you don't care that I don't care that you don't care... etc. pp.

Next stage: Insults and namecalling...

Teach me then. Define hypocrite (before you get the opportunity to claim you meant something else as the mood strikes you).

Just have the backbone to define the English word hypocrite first.

I'd say a hypocrite is either somebody who states certain opinions or beliefs and doesn't act accordingly and / or somebody who claims he has certain qualities and virtues while not actually possessing or having them.

You look down on men who cheat on their wives and commit adultery, yet you have no problem with partaking in the act of adultery with cheating wives. You look down on bankrobbers, yet you have no problem being the escape car driver, so to speak.

I think that you cannot look down on people committing a "crime" while you have - at least - helped other people commit the same "crime".

You look down on cheating men, therefor you're thinking you are better than them, while I believe you have no right to think you're better than them because you've partaken / assisted in in the very acts you denounce / condemn them for. You claim to have a certain quality / virtue (being better than husbands who engage in the act of cheating) as a person while, in my mind, you do NOT have that quality (because you were one half of a "team" who engaged in the act of cheating).

Unless, of course, you deny that calling cheating husbands "weak and low class" and stating that you have "no respect for them" is a denunciation / condemnation. I think it is, but I'm willing to say if it weren't you would not be a hypocrite according to my definition.

But I think you are!

I'd say the core point of disagreement is that you (conveniently) put the burden of responsibility solely on the shoulders of the spouse who is about to engage in the act of cheating. I wholeheartedly disagree with that position and insist that the act of cheating is committed by two people (spouse and "homewrecker") who have a shared responsibility for their deed.

In short:

Your position (as I understand it): You despise men who engage in the act of cheating and you're claiming you have not done the same. You're not being hypocritical.

My position: I'm saying you, too, engaged in the act of cheating, not as the actual cheater but as the cheater's partner / helper/ assistant. You are being hypocritical.

None! You claimed to have a certain quality or virtue that you - in my mind - do NOT have! Try reading full sentences sometime instead of just first halves...

Just as I predicted you've gone to the next stage with insults / namecalling ("retarded"). Thanks for dancing!

You're hypocritical, arrogant and self-serving. You challenged me to "teach" you and have a "backbone" and make a definition. I gave you a definition and an explanation why you fit that definition. You refuse to read the explanation and resort to insults.

You're truly a master debater! (pun intended? who cares?)

BTW, that was "irony". Want me to define "irony" for you?

Remember, you pulled me off the bench and forced this dance, not the other way around (you poor victim), I'm just making you finish what you started.

I named the quality / virtue in the explanation you refused to read. I'm not going to type that again, because it would be a quasi double post. Read the explanation right under the definition. The dance is already over and you don't even notice that the band has left. Remember? "Poor grasp on reality"?

And thanks for the "victim"! Further fulfilling my prediction.

OK, so you don't know what an "Oxymoron" is, you don't understand what "Satire" is, and you can't figure out what "Hypocrite" means.

Feel free to grab me again anytime, dummy.

Now you're just chasing your own tail! I've already explained why I used the term "oxymoron" the way I did in the respective thread. It was for humorous reasons which you can't seem to comprehend.

I didn't "use Satire" - I wrote "a satire", "a literary work holding up human vices and follies to ridicule or scorn" according to Merriam-Webster's definition. My stupid little post actually fits that definition, as preposterous and laughable as it may sound.

And now for the "hypocrite", my dearest hypocrite:

My definition:

I'd say a hypocrite is either somebody who states certain opinions or beliefs and doesn't act accordingly and / or somebody who claims he has certain qualities and virtues while not actually possessing or having them.

Merriam-Webster's definition:

Main Entry: hyp·o·crite
Pronunciation: \ˈhi-pə-ˌkrit\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English ypocrite, from Anglo-French, from Late Latin hypocrita, from Greek hypokritēs actor, hypocrite, from hypokrinesthai
Date: 13th century
1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

Incredible! I was spot-on!

Please carry on with the insults / namecalling! Dance!

Again, I didn't state exactly why I called you a hypocrite yet. So you cannot possibly know whether I met the requirements of any definition or not.

That's not quite logical. By calling someone a hypocrite, he/she would definitely meet some requirements you use to define hypocrite. Otherwise, you cannot arrive at the term hypocrite without being a hypocrite yourself.

Just sayin'.
