I liked that; 1. India Summer got nominated for best actress and MILF performer of the year. 2. Sasha Grey got nominated for best actress, best anal scene, best couples sex scene, best new webstarlet, best oral sex scene, best solo sex scene, Most Outrageous Sex Scene, The Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year, 3. Manuel Ferrara and Jenna Haze wins it all  I can live with everything as long as that Tanner Mayes and Kristina Rose never win. I don´t get it? Why do they get nominated at all?  AVN nominees

I was nominated for best website (HollyRandall.com) and my site isn't even a year old yet... I have no money to bribe anyone for a nomination, and there have been no complimentary blowjobs given as of yet... Really I don't expect to win, being against megasites such as Brazzers, Hustler, and Penthouse, but it's nice to be recognized.

Sasha's first film from her new production party, The Birthday Party, was released only two months ago. How does that get her best new web starlet? I believe Bree Olson won that award last year though she's a contract girl. How does a contract girl get to be included as a web starlet? That category should be for the Vicky Vette's of the world. And if an Alexa rank mattered, then Vicky Vette would definitely be nominated for that award because according to Fame Registry, she has the most visited porn star web site. I have nothing against Sasha or Bree. But the AVN Award nominations usually make no sense. At least you have content regardless that you're a new website. You have content out there. There are people who have been in this industry for so many years and rarely get a nomination but shit like this happens.

I WILL flatter myself because I work my fucking ass off for that website: I started with no investors, no line of credit, no borrowed money. I have worked 15 hour days 5-6 days a week for the last year and put every dime I've made from my company back into it. Like I said, I know that I don't have a chance in hell of winning, and I'm OK with that. I don't know a lot of those sites mentioned, but there are definitely some big players in there. I'm going to take the compliment, be thankful for it, and continue to claw and spit my way to the top. I'm young and I'm ambitious, and I love my job. And regardless of whether or not you or anybody else thinks I deserve it, I'm going to use this nomination to promote the shit out of my site.

Oh God you really want to know? Cause it's kinda pretentious... ok here goes: The mannequins represent the impossible idealistic female form held by today's society. They are headless because their importance is solely their bodies, not their minds. Also as mannequins are used to sell clothing, these figures represent women as mindless objects whose only objective is to sell a product. Yes, you could say that this idea illustrates the very nature of adult entertainment, but on a broader scale it's about the role of beautiful women in society in general: whether they're used to sell porn, or clothes, or makeup, or alcohol... the list goes on. The model as you can see is angry with the mannequin, but her fury is fruitless and misdirected as the mannequin is not only a statue, it is a headless one at that. In that sense it is the depiction of the mindless corporation: it has no ears to hear you, no eyes to see you, no mind to think of you. The model is also naked (exposed and vulnerable) and en pointe (a stance which is uncomfortable and impossible to maintain for a long period of time), further manifesting the idea that women are held up to unrealistic standards.
I've wanted to shoot a girl with mannequins for a while, and the idea just continued to develop as I planned the shoot. The entire set has different shots of the model molesting the mannequins, walking arm-in-arm with them as a companion, and other various and not so meaningful poses. Anyhow it was fun to shoot and produce something which actually had a message, though I don't really advertise it that way-- people can see what they'd like in it. Obviously I am a cog in the wheel of the problem that is symbolized in this photo, which made it all the more interesting for me to shoot. Really it's just a photo, but if you want to consider the message, it's just a commentary, not a lecture or even really an opinion. It's just something I wanted to do.
