I dabble in geneaology- I'm too young and not retired so I can't be considered serious about it yet. But, I took a DNA test and submitted it against my gut instinct. I was pleased to find four "cousins" I never knew existed and to ascertain that all the family folklore I'd been told was true. There was not a single "nigger in the woodpile". Had the results been different I could see how knowing the truth could be over-rated.
