Today, I made an attempt to prove to have2cit (and myself) that global warming is really man-made.
Last Wednesday, we cut down 4 large trees and today I started burning the useless parts in an old oil drum. It was a good fire: the flames came higher than the house. Because it has been freezing and snowing a little, the fire produced immense columns of smoke, which caused a dense mist to form in the neighbourhood. Also, the snow around the fire melted completely! Wow!

I will continue this experiment the next few weeks and would like to ask all fellow XPT posters to monitor the outdoor temperature at their place of living. My calculations predict a small rise in temperature globally, but local differences could occur. Thank you!
