Arrested for not leaving a tip Personally, I don't agree with mandatory tips, but I understand when a bar/rest. does it for large groups. This was a group of 6 who's total bill (food,drinks,tax) came to $73. They are the exact reason for gratuity being mandatory. They took up seats for over an hour in a busy place, and barely spent $10 each. In the vid, she complains that she had to get her soda re filled at the bar herself. It's not like they were eating steaks, they probably got silver ware to eat chicken fingers.
The couple times I've gotten shitty service, I just leave a dollar bill on the table, to show I was disappointed, and not that I just forgot to leave something.
