Like many of these remakes, they are for the kids of today to oo and ah over the effects. They figure the fans of the past will show up hoping "this will be the remake that doesn't suck." And they leave disappointed. GI JOE, Transformers, Star Wars: Jar Jar Binks Addition, all blew. Thank god for 80 y/o chinese lady bootleggers, so these shit heels can't get their hands on my $$$.
