Ha, it didn't do it just now. It may have to do with how many posts per page you/I have set, and whether or not the pics that instigate the window are on the page you or I go to.

The pics aren't on the last page of posts for me anymore, as of today.

I'm not going to click to the page with the pics, cause it's really not that important. Wouldn't you agree?
