Hmmm...

No matter if it is hockey, lacrosse, rugby, football, baseball, or women's soccer, there are appropriate levels of aggression and competition and then there is doing something stupid because you can't control your emotions. If a person has just lukewarm intelligence and mediocre social skills or better, poor sportsmanship is the warning sign of a defective personality.

I'd guess it is about on the same level as torturing small animals or setting fires.
