I quit or got kicked off sports teams because I was constantly told that I was too rough...when I backed off I was told I wasn't playing hard enough so I never participated in sports past middle school. I was a big kid my whole life and usually looked 2 years older than other boys my age from the time I was in elementary school. One time parents from an opposing team complained about me before a pee-wee football game becasue they thought I was too big to be in the age group...I was actually one of the youngest players on the team. I never liked sports but when I was a kid the few active male role models I had were excited about me participating but I really hated it so I just did other things once I got into 6th grade. Computer club, model rockets, CB radios/electronics, video games and the like. I did bully most of the football players in High school though....that was sort of competitive.
