Scales do the opposite for me. They're very triggering. I will obsess and withdraw from food altogether. I guess if I want to save money, I should do that...heh. The only way I can use a scale is not be triggered is if I'm working out on a regular basis for a long time and am at a mental state where numbers aren't so triggering. I had a trainer for 2 years. The first 3 months, he'd have me get on the scale backwards and measure my bf% and not tell me the number.
