Fucking Majors are asshats anyway. Too much rank to command a company, but not enough to command a battalion. Useless for anything but staff officers. They are like the 2nd Lieutenants of field grades. Except for this rare case of a medical officer, they have made a decision to stay in, but haven't distinguished themselves enough to move highter. And medical Majors haven't earned their rank, either. Assholes.

They should kill all the Majors, and not make anymore. After you are a Captain for 10 years, either they make you a Lieutenant Colonel or kick you out. That would prove how tough and strong AMERICA is and stop shit like this from happening.
