it's challenging to be funny, i'll take monkey, simp, and smartt over shortsighted political fanboyism and sycophantic massaging of a few sacred cows. they're good for sheer volume of information and less-intimidated and more numerous talent, but most of the "smart" stuff is annoyingly not smart and never funny. if anything, the regulars here are more intelligent and don't need another place to constantly prove it at the expense of entertainment value.
