Had this in Florida last week at the resort where I was staying. 44 Degrees North VodkaAnyone else have it? Like it, hate it? I'd never heard of it before, so I had to try it. The cherry liquor went surprisingly well with cola which made for a wonderfully buzzworthy "Cherry Coke" before nose-diving down the slide into the pool.

My current fave is Permafrost Vodka from up here in Alaska. Glacier water & local potatoes. Triple distilled and filtered 5 times. They're coming out with faggy flavors soon too, if you prefer: Birch Syrup Vodka & Blueberry Vodka.

I fail to see the point. If I wanted flavoured vodka I could do it myself and it will be better. Notice I haven't been posting lately? I also haven't had a drink for 2 weeks.

I suppose, but the idea of drinking straight vodka with Coke is about as appealing as drinking it with Red Bull. They just don’t mix. Throwing the cherry-flavored liquor in a Coke made it take like a soft drink for an alcoholic.
I only drink Vodka Tonics, Martinis & Screwdrivers these days. We all remember what happened the last time I went on a straight vodka binge.

I've been drinking tons of homemade Bloody Mary-type concoctions lately. Basically, I just throw a bunch of tomatoes, celery, red peppers and carrots into my juicer and then mix in a bit of store-bought Bloody Mary mix and a dash of hot sauce. The reason I've been doing this is to avoid both artificial sweeteners and carbonated mixers. Any time I mix my alcohol with a carbonated soda, my stomach feels like shit at the end of the night. With veggie juices, I don't get that feeling in my stomach. And I also don't get that craving to eat something horrible at the end of the night. I hate waking up with Taco Bell on my shirt.

FWIW, you don’t know shit about what I was going through. Yeah, I turned to the bottle because of her, and 3 months later I almost lost my right arm in an accident at work because I was hungover. That was about the time I woke the fuck up.
Lots of other things to do around here instead of sit home & drink until you pass out. I spend my weekends shooting local bands at local bars & clubs.
You act like you’re some kind of big shit whose never been burned out by bullshit? Grow the fuck up & suck my hairy ass dude.
