It was a metaphor. A mixed up one, but that that's how I operate sometimes. There were several I was choosing from. I didn't know the history of the term, but it makes sense. To me, it means something that's obvios to all involved, but no one wants to talk about it. I was leaning toward 300 pound canary, but I like gorillas. Primates are cool poop flinging animals.
