I hear ya. I've kind of felt the same way, but there are some non power users that would just like a larger screen, keyboard, i/o, etc, in a smaller than standard size for accessing the web on-the-go, etc.
My phone has kept me from making the move, and I don't think I will any time soon. Between the desktops at home, and the phone when I'm away, I'm set for now.
Apple is expected to release it's tablet in the first quarter of 2010. Should be interesting.
I would hate a keyboard that small, I hate laptop keyboards as it is. And if the keyboard is already that small you might as well just have an iphone or something like that. What they really need to make is something that has a full size desk top computer keyboard without the number pad and then a small screen that just folds over. So you would have something less of a square and more of a rectangle shape....bigger than a netbook but smaller than a laptop and your hands wouldn't be cramped when you type.
