The Eagles managed to get beaten by the Raiders, nuff said. The entire AFC East leaves a little to be desired too.

My guess for the week will be that LaDainian will finally realize the pre season is over and have a good game tonight. Also, the Broncos defense will show its made up of humans, not machines. If Tomlinson doesn't show something tonight, stick a fork in him.

And I don't think the Giants are overrated ,either. I think the Saints are underrated.

After the past few years the Cowboys have qualified for the ALL TIME OVERRATED team award. When you watch the games, you can see it is all on Romo's shoulders. In one game I saw him over throw Roy Williams 3 times. On one play Roy was 45 yards down field, w/2 steps on the defender, and Romo threw a ball 50 yards. He is their Donavan McNabb, good enough to put up stats and get to the playoff, but he'll lose their biggest game of the year every year.

The AFC West sucks. Denver could not win a game the rest of the year I would still bet they win the division. LT meet Eddie George, Norv Turner meet the unemployment line at the end of the season. I'm not sold on Denver yet. Let's see what they look like when they play the Giants, Eagles, Ravens, and Steelers.

I'll be the first to throw it out. Right now the best quarterback in the NFL is not named either Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. Right now Drew Brees is the best quarterback in the league.

I don't get the league this year. You seem to figure out a team and WHAM they let down.
Like ... the Packers appear to be reeling, the Cowboys riding the wave and POW ... reversal.
Sadly I expected my Jets to be bad. I predicted 4-12 with a new coach, system and rookie QB with no receivers. But, after they got off to such a good start, I'm a bit disappointed in their play.
But, the Giants really surprise me. Manning's heel and Burress's banning don't explain how badly their D has looked. SD just stuffed it down their throats with ease in the last minute in their last game.

LaDanain Tomlinson stepped up to the plate, and Philip Rivers always has the potential to explode. IMO the Jints just can't replace a big WR like Plaxiico Burress with a gaggle of little guys.
