If Brady stays healthy, I think it's gonna be the Patriots all the way, this year.
Anyone else wanna to make an early prediction?

Philly is my pick from the NFC.

I just checked the schedule. The Pats wont be playing against Philly, in the regular season. So that's one loss that the Eagles wont have to endure this year. (At least in the regular season) Any Baltimore fans here? The Ravens were on a pretty good roll, before they met the Patriots today.

I watched the last quarter. That was a great fucking chunk of game, Ravens receivers at the end notwithstanding.

It was a pretty good game. Some of the best games they've been in, have been in the playoffs though. Especially in the Super Bowls. Even Patriot haters would have to admit that some of the best Super Bowls ever played, involved the Patriots. The Ravens had their shot, but the Patriots defense stopped them in the closing seconds.
To tell you the truth, I don't even think the Patriots are running on all Cylinders yet, but they're still doing pretty good. Considering Brady was out all last year, and Welker was injured. Now Brady also has Welker available, when Moss is receiving double coverage. If they stay healthy, it can only get better.

Baltimore fan here. If Mark Clayton caught that perfectly thrown pass, then we might have won. Also, Tom Brady is a whining punk ass bitch for crying to the refs to get that bogus roughing the passer call against Terrell Suggs. Pats won thanx to some home cookin' calls from the refs, Chris Carr's fumble of the opening KR and the Clayton drop at the end of the game.

I think I can safely eliminate the Chiefs from this discussion. The AFC is pretty wide open right now (Patriots, Colts, Ravens, Jets, I'm not even counting out Pittsburgh yet). The NFC looks like it will be down to the Saints and Giants with Minnesota, Atlanta, and Philadelphia having outside shots.

Vikings will never make the Super Bowl again until they start playing outdoors again like they were meant to be.

New England isn't playing like a top-tier team, and Brady isn't back to being in the same sentence as Manning or Brees. They need to win as often on merit as by pure chance before they're worth picking.
The Vikings problem is that Favre can't go 16 games, much less through the playoffs. No matter how well he does, even if he goes undefeated as long as he starts, someone else has to play those last few games. Who do they have to take on the defense of the Ravens, for example? And if he gets hurt early like last year you're looking at a repeat of last year.

Giants in the nfc- global warming will keep it from getting too cold for eli mannings fragile hands to screw up the season late.
I have no clue in the afc? No team has stepped to forefront yet- as a placeholder i'll take NE.

New Orleans looks too. Ravens, New Orleans and Giants look real at this point. And the Colts can't be ignored, though I don't think Manning has enough help - they'll be exposed either way fairly soon.

I already acknowledged that they weren't 100% on top of their game, but they have legitimate excuses. It's still early in the season, and they have plenty of time to crank it up. I know all to well, what this team is capable of...so it's only a matter of time.

Giants beat the Vikings the last day of the season, and again in the NFC Championship game. AFC Championship game Ravens over the Colts, ruining Manning v Manning. Giants over Ravens in the Super Bowl.

It's a joke Ren-Ren. Teh saints and giants are both NFC teams, ergo it is impossible for them to meet in the superbowl...

If Kyle Orton makes it to the Super Bowl I may reconsider taking all this Mayan calender, world ending in 2012 stuff a little more seriously.

Since the conquistadores destroyed about 90% of the Mayan codices, we have limited knowledge of Mayan astronomy. December 21, 2012 represents the end of the "long count" calendar and it is remarkable that the Maya were able to forecast to the day the occurrence of a rare galactic alignment. Mayan cosmology regards this alignment as portentious as it involves their beliefs as to the creation and destruction of the universe. It is very early to forecast the Super Bowl, since the teams to that win the conference championships are often those that "catch the wave" from mid-season through the playoffs. I like the ability of the Steelers defense to make big plays and was impressed by the Cardinals victory over the Giants. Right now a rematch seems a good guess. Also, guessing the the sun will rise on December 22, 2012.
