Glanced at the "law protecting students free speech" for student newspapers link. What the student paper did at the university I went to, they just said fuck the university and turned it into their own business, actually making money for the reporters. That's how your supposed to do it. Genuine independence. Not create some bullshit laws so you can run your mouth on the tax payer's dollar while the administration finds a way around your nonsense. Such as, shutting down the newspaper, that rings a bell?
