Of course it is. Why spend money on something that has 10 components, when you'll only use a handful of them? Photoshop has too much stupid shit, thus for editing, I can't justify it. If I were to invest in any version of CS from Adobe, it would be simply for Illustrator, because I like(d) making my own maps, etc.
