In the spirit of Panzer's personal blog style of posting, I decided to document the evolution of my fourth attempt at learning oil painting from a book.

Day 1: about 30 to 45 minutes into the first day of my latest project, just laying down the basic shapes and some colors. You can still see parts of the charcoal sketch underneath.
