There actually could have been some 'star' system if you look at the Marylin Chambers-into the Ginger Lynn era (or around there). But there was no real crossover. I also think (other than Ron Jeremy) the people who fucked and sucked on screen weren't so godddamn desperate for everyone to embrace them;it sure made being a porn fan cooler. Then along came Jenna. I think everybody in the smut biz got a collective boner thinking porn had 'made' it and the best was yet to come.

Too bad they forgot to envision the part where girls where doing sites like Piss Mops for 800 bucks a scene and hooking on Craigslist...
