Oddly enough, one of my favorite Miracles jams came after Smokey left and had Billy 'Love Machine' Griffin take over on lead vocals: Do it baby which was written by in-house producer and engineer Freddie Perren who decided to go full force with the funk on this one. _________________________ I hit her with the hammer on top of the head. Too light and fluffy for my tastes, I prefer Stax/Volt and the Atlantic stuff from Muscle Shoals. A lot grittier and despite all the good session musicians Motown had they couldn't touch Booker T. & the MGs or the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. _________________________ I would eat Allie Sin's asshole until I got an emotion out of her.-Jerkules
