B I was taking artistic license. I live in the middle of Appalachia. Moonshine and pickle jars go hand in hand if there aren't any Mason or jelly jars around. I'm a little too young to remember genuine pickle barrels but pickled pigs feet in a big jar in the local honky tonk will suffice.
