It is one thing to drive someone away from the board, but something completely different TO DRIVE SOMEONE OFF THE FUCKING INTERNET!!!!
I have been here for years now, and this is the most powerful smack I have seen laid down on anyone PERIOD.
Before anyone starts mumbling about how Desi was not a worthy opponent, Electro made her pull up the tents ON HER OWN FUCKING BLOG!!!
Let's give credit where credit is due, and this has not happened too early for a nomination when our year-end awards are tallied. I believe that this has historical significance... 
This and my upcoming nuptials to Marley Mason will make this xxxporntalk's camelot!

First off, I totally agree with Electro having dispatched Mom quite nicely. The subtleness of it all. It was very amatuerish photoshopping, I believe by design, but it was enough to push Mom totally over the edge. In a most hysterical way. My favorite, besides Mom alerting the Joint Chiefs of Staff and and local DJ Mark Bone, was how it was a pic of her being beheaded by Freddie Krugar (she even spelled it wrong, like I did) when it was fucking Jason VorHees, or at least a Jason impersonator.
And Goat, Goat, my friend, you da man. He led me to the trainwreck that we know fondly as "Mom". He was Qui-Gon Jinn to my Obi- Wan. Willis to my Arnold. Fonzie to my Richie. Desi to my Lucy. Kark Marx to my Barack Obama. He encouraged me when others told me I was an obsessive stalking fanboi who was too fucking longwinded. For that, my friend, mad props, as the young people say.
But I certainly would like some recognition for my efforts. I truly think that in my 20 years online, some of my best work has been done in the various Mom threads. I've been that nagging little piece of sand that the oyster turns into a beautiful, chubby pearl. Pointing out every insignificant misstatement, lie, delusion and bits of doubletalking that Mom has become so known for.
All that said, Mom ain't gone. She's still huddled over her keyboard next to the hotplate, knife in her garterbelt, alternately pounding on the keyboard and her prepaid cellphone, sending out texts, knowing that there's no way she could've burned every bridge, that there's still someone out there (besides us) who will listen to her rantings. But she'll make the realization that we're all she has. And she'll return. She can't help it. And we'll welcome her back with open arms.

i don't think this is about any nerves being struck based on her patterns. she's stuck in fast moving current and just grabbing at anything now before she goes over- she knows it's coming.
wild eyes, sweaty upper lip, a collection of twitches and tics .. running from left to right for no reason at all. it's all very real now. and i say good riddance. she’s been nothing but a liability for this team.

Was she looking for sympathy or was she looking for attention to jump start the various "careers" she has in the fire? I think if she managed to make it to Oprah, or more likely Povich or some D- grade talkfest, that even if she were thoroughly trashed, she would still think she came out on top, for the simple reason that she got attention. Maybe her daily page views might jump to 15.
I'm sure there are other such "teams" out there. But Mom trying to remake herself into some kind of higher moral authority, not to mention aggrieved party, was beyond the pale. Throw in her various "crusades" and her inability/ refusal to find a job, and her various excuses as to why, she couldn't be anything but a target.
Things might have gone differently if she would have taken just a little bit of responsibility for her actions. If she'd have had her little crusade to save America's daughters, but included a "hey, I fucked up by pimping my daughter", I doubt she'd have become the project she became for some. But that's something she'll never be able to do. If you think she melted down here, just imagine what would happen if she truly looked at herself and admitted the most damaging person in her life is herself. It's really much easier to blame others for your mistakes, to imagine that you're the hero fighting a lone battle against the forces of "evil", one of her favorite themes toward the end. It's much harder to admit that it was you that made the poor choices that destroyed everything in your life. Her marraige? The ex's fault. Her daughter's foray into porn and escorting? Not Mom's fault. She had no hand in it at all. Those evil porn guys practically reached into her house and stole her innocence. Mom was just a journalist doing an in- depth report on those dirty Jews that want to see those Gentile girls defiled. She wags that bony finger at us, we respond, and we're being "violent" and Tyra and the President had to be notified. She took herself oh, so seriously, while generally making an ass of herself.
I'll miss her antics, and the general fuckery that went with her. But let's be real here. She will be back. She needs the drama, the sympathy, the attention. And I for one will give her the homecoming she deserves.
