How does old PSU look this year ?

Sorry to say, but I think they're overrated at #8-10, which is where most of the pre-season polls have them. They have to replace all of their starting WR's and most of the DB's. There are also some inexperienced guys on the OL, but I think they'll be OK there. I can see as many as four losses, maybe five if injuries become a problem.

Who do you like for the national championship ?

You have to put Florida in the mix, but I think Texas could be there at the end, but have to deal with Oklahoma State and Oklahoma first. We'll see about USC. It seems they have to replace a lot of players and may be a year away from a national championship run.

Typical first day. Lots of routs. TN did what they were supposed to do and killed WKU after a slow start. They played a shit load of freshmen. Ky routed Miami OH. as expected. UCLA is up next for the Vols. TN owes them an ass kicking.

This thursday night game should be interesting- Clemson's freshman QB, C.J. Spiller and their good defense vs. Ga Techs Flexbone offense.

Spiller returned the opening kick 96 yds for a TD last Saturday, and also returned a punt 50yds.

It should be interesting.

You want to talk about peeing down your leg against an inferior opponent, try getting no points off of three turnovers in the opponent's half of the field, missing three field goals and an extra point, and then letting some kid who had never kicked a field goal before nail a 48 yard attempt on wet turf with 30 seconds left in the game to lose by two.

UCLA is going to kill us and with the way the entire offense (minus a running back that ran for 140 yards and ran and threw for a touchdown) and special teams played that may not be a bad thing.

UCLA's defense is pretty salty but Tennessee's QB play reverted back to last year. I feel sorry for Johnathon Crompton but he has been given chance after chance.
