Agents, managers and pr people in porn.... yes, they're all parasites - and for the most part they're stupid.

Example:
One time I was doing a lingerie shoot for a regional magazine out on the west coast and contacted a PR rep to see if she wanted to get her porn starlet client's new line in the shoot because she spams me non-stop. She gave me a bunch of shit about me wanting her to send out some product, so much in fact that I blew her off and got another company to supply the lingerie. 120,000 people got that magazine and the lingerie company got about 8,500 orders for Valentine's Day. That shit wasn't cheap, so I'm guessing the lingerie company probably pulled in about a half a mil in gross sales off the 8 outfits they sent.

I'm sure the well known porn star would have liked that cash going into her bank account instead, but I'm also sure that her PR rep never bothered to mention the fact that a magazine wanted her line for a shoot. I'm also sure that the PR rep took her fees despite the fact that she fucked it up.
