Quote:
7-year-old Jessica Dubroff was murdered because her parents wanted her to break the record of flying around the world or country on "her own".
Jessica was a passenger on the flight that crashed and wasn't planned to pilot until after they had taken off. Weight and its distribution caused the crash, and that was the instructor's responsibility. Autopsies after the crash should he was flying the plane as planned and she was not.
Ironically, had the two adults stayed behind with their junk (weight) she probably could have done that flight OK herself.
The sailor girl has apparently already done solo excursions over two months by herself. It sounds to me as though she's got a lot of experience. But sailing the open ocean is a big deal and there's a degree of expertise needed beyond merely "a lot of experience". She has more than enough experience to sign on as an apprentice on a voyage and do it herself after that.
