At first I thought adding the post to the Candy thread, but then I concluded tha Lindor truffles should have their own thread. Lindor truffles are very great and affordable, they can generally be bought for $0.50(each) to $0.25(if you buy a lot), these Lindors are sold in chain drugstore and in Lindt boutiques. There are about 10 flavors of them and most of them taste very great, inside the chocolate shell theres a creamy-chocolate ganache(filling).

I recently had a candy crave so I decided to go to the Lindt boutique and buy some truffles. In NYC there are only 2 Lindt boutiques (within 10 minute walk from eachother), so I went to the one that is on 5th avenue. This boutique is kinda small but it carries a lot of different chocolates and candies. They also offer a number or sales and promos, like buy 4 chocolate bars and get 5th free, 120 for $30.00 truffles of your choice and 50% off the candies that expired in June. They also have a loyalty card that rewards you with free candy every month and gifts that you earn by buying more candy and chocolates. Their computer was down so I could not register for this good card. In the end I walked out with a bag of 36 truffles that I paid $12.00 and $1.00 of tax. I filled the bag with every sort of truffle that they had to offer, my favorite one is Dark Chocolat (Blue), Milk Chocolate(Red) and Stracciatella(inspired by "cookies 'n cream" ice cream). I think that all of these truffles are reasonably priced, especially when compared to Godiva candies that usually cost at $2.00 each.

Here is another facts: the factory in the USA cranks 5,800,000 Lindor truffles every day. 1-ton blocks of pure cholate arrive here in USA from Switzerland and then they get melted and mixed and then candies are produced there.

Spend the money you cheap fuck, its so worth it if your a chocolate connoisseur! But obviously your not if you think Toblerone is high on the list.
