People they never thought they'd hear from again. It's like high school is back on. Has anybody else had weird experiences with this? I get friend requests from people I went to high school with, but hardly knew. Or I get friend requests from old friends with no message. I send a standard "Hi - how's it going" message, and get no reply. Weird. Or I'll have girls asking why I didn't ask them out in 9th grade. Or, and this is my favorite, people will be COMPLETELY transformed into a different person. But now they have a family and use a picture of their little bastard as their profile photo. If you're going to try to contact old friends at least give them some way of recognizing you. Especially if you changed your name when you got married. _________________________

A friend of mine from high school who had issues with drugs got in touch via facebook and has become a psychotic right-wing born again. I figure it's just swinging from one extreme to the other.
