I worked for them for one day when I was nineteen. I quit once I realized it was a pretty rudimentary pyramid scheme, but I guess they are doing something right since that was thirteen years ago and they are still in business.
I would not call that a real job by any stretch of the imagination.

Those knives are shit, much like Ginzu. They have small serrations on the edge so you basically saw through everything; slice or chop is not really an option.
They are more reputable than Ginzu though. They have been Cutco forever. Ginzu bankrupts and reorganizes to get out of the lifetime warranty, i.e. Ginzu 2, Ginzu 2000.
I guess it would be a good cover for doing "privates". Just have the guy order enough of that shit product to make a $200 commission.

LOL, this isn't even a job.
I applied for this job during a summer break in college. It's not selective. What they basically did is herd a bunch of candidates into a room (I think there was about 50 of us at that session) and broke us into groups with one of their recruiters. The staff would then ask questions and we would then pelt the interviewer with answers. After that went on for like 5 min, the staff broke the groups apart and individually told the ones who got the jobs to stand outside the room while they told the candidates that didn't get chosen to leave the building. Rinse and repeat this process 100's of times.
The 'chosen' ones were then given the application to fill out and were given a time and location for a training orientation.
I showed up at the training orientation at a local hotel conference room rented for orientation. There were probably a 100 others there for the training. Basically we found out that the job was not a per hour wage job, but it paid $14 per prospective client visit + commission. So you had to visit clients to get paid, but you got paid that $14 even if you didn't sell any Cutco knives. And how did you get clients? Well you first start trying to sell to people you know (family, friends, etc.) and then ask them for names and numbers of others.
My opinion after I heard that spiel: Fuck. That. Shit.
