If a scene is payroll,know that ahead of time. And avoid them if you can since CA will take a shitload of it in taxes. On a $900 shoot...you'll end up getting a check for a little over $600. Not worth it.

Otherwise you always get a check or cash at the end of the shoot. ALWAYS.
