Anybody having problems with the latest edition ? My right click button won't work at all on Firefox but does on IE. Firefox also has been crashing a lot.

No it seems to be working everywhere else just fine. Maybe it became more discerning ?

I've had no problems at all since upgrading to 3.5 and now 3.5.2. In fact, it's as fast as hell.

It seems to crash, whenever I do a lot of browsing. That was the case with my old FF Browser, too. My Opera browser doesn't have this problem. The only thing better about FF is all of the add-ons that are available.

I was having troubles with both Firefox and IE 8 taking forever to load up tonight. Once FF finally loaded I downloaded Chrome and since then FF has been running fine.

backdoor, I did a quick bug search on Firefox's Bugzilla. You don't have Yahoo Toolbar installed do you? If so, you gotta disable that.

Start Firefox up in safe mode. That disables all extensions. Stuff like what you're talking about, it's usually an extension.

Then, if right clicking while in safe mode works, you have to look at all your extensions one by one. Possible having to enable each extension, one by one, and Firefox requests a restart every time you enable an extension which sucks, but you gotta do it.

But, if right clicking while in safe mode works, just look at your extension list. The ones written by big companies like Adobe, Sun, Apple, etc. those are probably fine. Ones by Google and Yahoo though sometimes are problematic even though they're big names. Also, independently written extensions sometimes cause problems.

But, for all I know, you don't even have any extensions installed. In which case, safe mode won't make any difference.

You did reboot just to see if that works?

Basically what I'm saying is try Safe Mode. If that works and you can't figure it out from there, post your Extension List here.

What about your theme? Those are considered extensions too. If you changed the theme from the default, that could be causing the problem.

Yeah, backdoor. If you tried the things I and Bill Hicks already mentioned. Chrome, Opera, IE, unless you specifically need Firefox for some reason....

I just upgraded to 3.5.2. It seems like Firefox is slower to open.

I use 3.0.13 and it works for me. Though now reading this thread I'm curious about why it hasn't bugged me about upgrading...

I had weird issues (frequent crashes) with 3.0.x but after updating to 3.5.x these went away, mostly. Both are much faster than IE7.0x and IE8.x. You could try the Portable Apps version of Firefox and see if it's more stable. Just install it in a different folder.

I think both of them are good posters so I don't mind but I'm with you on what emailing pages is about. That sounds like something my mother would do and she has the net savvy of a water buffalo trying to ride an elevator made for people.

I was referring to no option to send link or page by email and misspoke. That's what politicians call it anyway. I know you can copy and paste but I'm lazy. I'm actually starting to like chrome better though. It's fast !
