Nah , he can still practice with the team and get into all of the faciities , i bet he will go to the games too .

Remember , the NFL is a group of players that are felons and convicts . They just let Vick back into the game after he drowned dogs by hand , hung them from trees , and electrocuted them with cattle prods .

I doubt a punch after a game will stop the scouts from looking at him thru out the season . He will probably go to the gym everyday and be 30lbs bigger of muscle . He might not be drafted in the first few rounds , but they all know his potential .

I agree with Moxxie - they hit hard back, even though they could have used him. Good for them.

And going to the games isn't quite the same as playing in them. He has the opportunity to practice and stay on scholarship ... but since he'll never play another down for them academics suddenly matter a whole lot more than they might for a kid used to getting away with anything. He has the *opportunity* to work with the team but if he blows it in class or anywhere else he'll be kicked out immediately.

The NFL normally places a strong premium on actually playing instead of just watching from the bench. There have been a few cases of guys who missed their last college season making it into the NFL but not many, and fewer still that worked out: nobody wants the next Maurice Clarett now. If he manages to do well on academics and stay in shape then maybe lightning might strike in the NFL but I'd advise seeing how the CFL is doing financially and maybe sending in job applications to the local bars for bouncer positions.

For the first time in 103 years (that's when the Rose Bowl began...compare that to an upstart like the Super Bowl), the winner of the Oregon-Oregon St. game is guaranteed to go to the Rose Bowl.

Next Thursday at 6 p.m. (PST) on ESPN....since it's so late for those on the East Coast, set the recording units...
