Don't you people call that "being on the doll"? In The US even if you aren't on unemployment you can collect "welfare". This varies wildly from state to state as to how much money you can collect...some states will let you sit on your ass and just live off the government forever, even from generation to generation....other states will pretty much tell you to get fucked and if you can't or won't get a job you can go live in a cardboard box......collecting disability is a whole other ball of wax all together.
